I have my Magimix 4200XL for several months now and it is used most days in my kitchen. I love it and get so much use from it. From chopping onions to making breadcrumbs or whipping up some delicious Nigella Lawson baking, this appliance is one of the best things I've ever used in the kitchen. It is robust and well constructed and so quiet in its operation. It is easy to clean and I'm glad I chose the extra wide chute on the XL model. I cannot praise Amazon enough for a great service either!

I bought this a few weeks ago and it has been used almost every day since. So far it's managed everything I've thrown at it, it even makes perfect cake mixture as long as you leave the small chute out to let the air in. I'm so glad I went for the XL as it makes life much simpler when preparing dinner for the family. Much cheaper at O'Gormans though, which is where I bought mine ;)

I did a lot of research on this as it is an expensive product, and I previously had a cheap and cheerful processor. It's fantastic! The grating and slicing discs are excellent, even better than I thought they'd be (and also very sharp - beware!) and it does exactly what it says it will. Very easy to use, and even easier to clean - no silly places where food can get stuck that you can't get out. The XL feeding tube is great as you can fit whole fruits and vegetables in. It looks lovely in red and is already part of the kitchen - really happy with it, if you enjoy cooking and think you'll get your use out of it, I would definitely recommend you go for this one. This is the kind of thing you're only going to buy once or twice in your life, so for me it was worth spending the extra money to get a good quality processor that will last me years.
